How to Really Make Money Online With Clickbank by Erica Williams

We have all seen the ads before, plastered across our computer monitors; "Make $900 a day, easily!" Then they will try to charge you for this information. Well, the truth is out of the bag ladies and gentleman. What this ad is referring to is simply advertising for Clickbank.

The hardest thing about Clickbank is getting people to come to your website! Clickbank claims you don't have to have a website, but it would really be good to have one. See, when you write articles for directories, most of them do not allow affiliate links to the Clickbank product you are selling. So, that is why most people set up blogs and Squidoo pages, which is free.

To make a sell on Clickbank, understand something called conversion rate. According to marketing gurus, for every 200 visitors you have to your website, you should make at least one sale! Now this is very important information. The hardest thing is trying to get 200 people a day or more to your website. Here are some tips:

1) Advertise in Craigslist- Craiglist is one of the most popular free classified ads in the world right now. You could offer a service or teach a free class on any subject using free online classroom tools such as Moodle. You will be surprised as to how many people you can get to your website.

2) Make your ads very neat and organized. No one likes to come to a blog page that has text plastered with underlined hyperlinked words. They also do not like ads sprawled all over the place. Try to keep your ads in a column to the right or left of the blog. Use picture ads instead of cheesy words. Make sure the picture ads are of the same size for coordination.

3) If you are going to put advertisement links in your blog post or Squidoo page, please limit them. Adding a bunch of links will turn people off because they have seen it all before. Too many people have gone this approach and it is getting old. Link the first and last word of your post and that's it! Also, make sure the link text is not blue but black.

4) Offer information that can be considered of value in your blog. Offer free money making reports or free newsletters. Post a job board or news feed to keep people coming back to your website. Talk about things that people are interested in; the state of the economy, taxes, racism, foreclosures, how to make money online, etc.

5) Write and submit your articles to directories. This is called article marketing, and is one of the best ways to receive traffic to your website. To get the most out of this method, write 3-4 articles and submit them all to at least ten article directories. In this method, you should receive at least 200-1000 visitors.
